Sky News, a New Zealand television news program, did a piece on the The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers premier in Wellington. Several people involved with the movie were interviewed, including Karl.
During the interviews, the celebrities were asked what the stupidest thing they'd been asked in an interview was. Karl said that he thought he could beat Peter's Jackson's stupid question (was he "aware of the Lord of the Rings books before he started making the movie"). Karl then leaned in and asked the interviewer, "Belinda, what is the lost ring in your life?" Some of the interviewees were barefoot, as Karl shows in the last screen capture.
